School Psychology AdvocacyIn this era of financial crisis, school districts around the state are coming under increasing budgetary pressures. We’re already seen significant cuts to staff and programs in some of our more financially-strapped districts. And school psychologists have already been impacted by these cuts: we know of at least one school district which has already cut 40% of its school psychology staff.Due to these concerns as well as other issues such as privatization and our limited opportunity to bill for Medicaid services, MASP has prepared a public relations/awareness campaign to assist you in promoting your role as a school psychologist and the value you bring to your school community.
