Communications

Purpose:

a  To increase public awareness of the role and function of school psychological services and other information related to the mental health and educational needs of children and youth.

b. To keep MASP membership informed about state and national issues impacting public education and the practice of school psychology through routine email communications (i.e., MASP-In-Brief), the MASP website, social media, and other communications.

c. To oversee the publication of other documents as deemed necessary by the Executive Board.

Current focus:

Annually, prepare and distribute electronic newsletters and emails informing them of laws and important information affecting their roles.  Additionally, website and social media content and interfacing are part of the communications committee as well.
